How much charcuterie
per person?
Here’s how much food you need, with real numbers. Works for a board for six or a table for two hundred.
The Chart
Table sizes by headcount
These sizes treat charcuterie as an appetizer. If the table is the whole meal, tell us and we’ll size up.
Late arrivals see the same spread the first guests did.
For 200 or more guests we connect several tables and restock them through the event. Setup takes 60 to 90 minutes and breakdown is on us.
The Box & Board Math
Boxes and boards for smaller groups
Torn between a table and boxes? See them side by side.
Individual boxes
One box per guest covers it, which makes boxes an easy call for offices and showers.
Sharing boards
Our group boards feed roughly 4 to 12 people depending on size. See boards and prices.
Mix it up
Lots of hosts pair a centerpiece board with cups or cones so guests can grab and go.
Before The Party
Three things hosts forget
The 30-minute rule
Cheese tastes best at room temp. Take everything out about 30 minutes before guests arrive. More on keeping it fresh.
The 4-hour rule
Charcuterie is safe out for up to 4 hours. Open the spread when guests arrive so the clock starts at the right time.
